Coast Starlight Business Class

One of the premier Amtrak long-distance trains, the Coast Starlight, operating between Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, and Seattle, has long been a popular train among passengers. Additionally, due to the popularity of the route, it has been an ideal revenue source for Amtrak.

However, the onboard services team in Los Angeles looked for additional ways to increase revenue. One option was Business Class, an upgraded Coach Class option. The team was given the approval to test this new service option and before long, it was expanded to additional routes throughout Amtrak’s system.

Task

To introduce and announce the new service option to the traveling public, our team created marketing materials that included posters for in station and on board trains.
